This is the EMA’s dedicated COVID-19 site, which links through to our existing website where you can access all the services you usually would. Our AdviceLine is there to help, and they can put you in touch with our Legal Team and Employment Relations, Human Resources and Health and Safety consultants. Much of our learning and many of our conferences and events are still being offered but as webinars, in online classrooms and through e-learning.

Third round of wage subsidy

The decision to keep Auckland at Alert Level 4 has triggered a third round of the Wage Subsidy Scheme, which will open for applications at 9am this Friday, September 17. Details will be updated here.

Employers must ensure essential workers tested

Employers of essential workers who cross Level 4 boundaries are required to have a process to enable them to get tested. From midnight on Thursday evidence is required of a test in the previous 7 days. This evidence is in addition to travel documentation.

Second Round of RSP

Applications for the second round of the Resurgence Support Payment will open on September 17 and will be available until one month after a nation-wide return to Alert Level 1.
